    Policies

    • Study rooms are for Harford Community College student use only. 
    • Study rooms must be reserved through the online reservation system, using a valid Owlmail email address.
    • Students may reserve a study room for a maximum of three hours per day, and up to a week in advance.
    • Reservations will be held for 15 minutes after the reservation start time, after which time the room will be released.
    • To cancel a reservation, use the link in the reservation email or contact the Research Help Desk: 443-412-2131.
    • Library staff reserve the right to ask students to show their College ID card and/or proof of reservation.
    • Students must abide by the study room’s maximum occupancy, as stated.
    • Do not obstruct study room windows or doors.
    • Do not remove official Library signage from the study room.
    • Study rooms are not soundproof; if individuals or groups are disturbing other patrons, they may be asked to leave.
    • The Library cannot guarantee an uninterrupted experience in the study rooms. If you need to take a proctored exam, please arrange to do so at the HCC Test Center.
    • Please erase whiteboards and dispose of all food waste in an outside trash receptacle when finished using the room.
    • Items left unattended may be reported to Public Safety (Belcamp building).
    • Failure to adhere to the Library's policies may result in staff asking you to vacate the room.
