Your visit begins at the 9/11 Memorial Museum with a guided tour, then free time to experience the rest of the museum exhibits and outdoor Memorial area on your own. The 9/11 Memorial Museum tells the story of the events which took place through media, narratives and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts. This moving experience will show you personal stories of loss, recovery and hope. Fee includes round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach and admission to the museum. All meals are on your own. You’re more than welcome to leave the museum to visit the nearby World Trade Center Oculus too!

Start your day with a visit to the Cumberland Visitor Center, then hop aboard the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad! Ride on the Frostburg Flyer in the lunch class and enjoy your choice of entrée while riding through the Allegheny Mountains. There is a 90-minute layover in Frostburg where you can explore the town’s shops before re-boarding the steam engine train for the return trip down the mountain. After arriving back at the station, there will be a quick visit to George Washington’s Headquarters. Fees include round-trip transportation, a 4½-hour train ride and lunch.

On the Monuments by Moonlight tour you will be transported to many of the city's most famous sights, while enjoying the tranquil night and evening breeze. Stops at Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial, FDR, Lincoln, Vietnam Veterans, Korean War and Martin Luther King Jr Memorials. Hear historical tales from your trolley conductor as you ride aboard a custom built stadium trolley where every view is great. Hop off at any stop to sight see, shop or dine and rejoin the tour at your leisure. There will be time before the trolley ride to explore Union Station. Fee includes transportation from HCC to DC and a ticket aboard the Old Town Trolley.

Our day begins with admission to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts before walking to LOVE Park where we’ll begin our guided food tour of the Christmas Market. Difficulty Rating: Leisurely dayLeisurely day. You can board a bus, climb one flight of stairs, walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty.

Difficulty Rating: Slightly challengingSlightly challenging. Likely walking two to three miles over the course of the day, on a variety of terrains with rest breaks.

Difficulty Rating: On the goOn the go. You can handle standing for long periods of time, are able to walk about 6,000 steps during the trip and are comfortable climbing into/out of various modes of transportation.

Difficulty Rating: Physically activePhysically active. During this trip, you will likely walk 8,000–10,000 steps. You must be comfortable with long periods of standing or walking on uneven terrain and steep slopes.

REAL ID: Effective for travel May 7, 2025 forward, the REAL ID Act standards for identification while traveling are in effect. This means a standard issued driver’s license used as a form of identification will no longer be accepted for domestic air travel within the United States. Instead, a Real ID compliant form of identification must be presented both at the time of booking air travel with Collette and upon checking in at the airport to board any flight.
