Harford Community College travel opportunities range from local day trips to overnight adventures. From the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC and a tour of the Naval Academy in Annapolis ,to battlefield tours in Pennsylvania and holiday celebrations at Longwood Gardens, Radio City and Cape May, Harford takes you to places that give you plenty of memories to bring home.

Kitchen Shoppe Demonstration

Saturday, August 20, 2022  |  10:45 AM–6 PM

Join us for a Summer Grilling demonstration, tasting and wine pairing. Menu includes: grilled shrimp ceviche, Kansas City style brisket, brisket baked beans, benedictine pasta salad, teriyaki turkey burgers and sweet corn bread pudding. Leisure time after grilling demonstration to shop and visit the Kitchen Shoppe store. Fee includes round trip transportation from the College, snack box, and grilling demonstration with tasting and wine pairing.

Travel with us to the Nation's Capital and choose between 3 options. Transportation is included in all options. Lunch is on your own.

Option 1: US Holocaust Memorial Museum
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is America's national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history and serves as a memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust. This internationally acclaimed museum tells the story of the Holocaust through artifacts, films, photos, and oral histories. Lunch is on your own in the Museum Cafe.

Option 2: International Spy Museum
Five historic buildings in the heart of downtown Washington have undergone a magnificent restoration to become the home International Spy Museum. Located adjacent to FBI headquarters, it is the first public institution dedicated to the history of espionage.   Course fee includes transportation and museum admission. Lunch is on your own.

Option 3: On Your Own

Spend a day exploring the museums, monuments, and national treasures. Fees include round trip bus accommodations to the city. Drop off and pick up location will be at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.

David at Sight and Sounds

Witness one of the most legendary Bible stories as it comes to life with spectacular special effects, massive sets and live animals in this brand-new stage production.  Travel with us to see David in its opening month at Sight & Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA.  Before the performance, enjoy lunch from Lancaster County's largest smorgasbord, Shady Maple, featuring 200 feet of deliciously authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cooking. Lunch is on your own. Trip includes round trip charter bus transportation and admission to the show.

Join us for a fun-filled day in New York City’s Rockefeller Center!  You will have time to explore the city before the performance.  Choose to visit the amazing window displays or ice skate in Rockefeller Center. Tickets are for the 1:00 pm performance, orchestra seating. Round trip transportation, show admission and snack box included. Lunch and Dinner is own your own.

Longwood Gardens

A Longwood Christmas

Experience Longwood Gardens in its holiday finery. Have an early dinner or late lunch in The Cafe and afterwards wander the Conservatory to see thousands of poinsettias, decorated trees and other fragrant holiday flowers! Stroll through a half-millions lights in the outside gardens and enjoy cozy fire pits and a festive Garden Railway. Don't forget to enjoy time in the Open Air Theatre and witness a wonderful fountain display with holiday color and festive music. Round trip transportation and Garden admission included. Lunch and Dinner is on your own.
