What are Camp Curiosity hours?
Full Day Camp: 9 AM–4 PM
Half Day Camp: 9 AM–12 PM
Does Camp Curiosity offer before and after care?
Yes! Campers must register for Before and/or After Care at the time of Camp registration.
Before Care begins at 7:30 AM and After Care ends at 5:30 PM.
Where do I drop my child off in the morning?
Specific camp building and room locations are listed in the Camp Schedule and will be emailed to parents/guardians the Thursday before camp. Campers are required
to be signed into camp daily and dropped off directly to their camp room.
Where do I pick my child up from camp?

to be signed out of camp daily from their camp room. Only individuals listed on the
campers Authorized to Pick Up list and who have a picture ID will be allowed to pick
up a camper.
Does my child need to pack a lunch and snack?
Yes! All campers attending a full day camp are required to pack their own lunch. Campers
are also encouraged to pack a morning and afternoon snack.

Is Camp Curiosity a state-licensed camp?
YES! Although many camps are not, Camp Curiosity is certified! When you choose a Maryland
Department of Health certified youth camp program, you are selecting a program that
is inspected to meet state health and safety requirements.

What is Camp Curiosity’s medication policy?
Camp Curiosity will administer most emergency medications (i.e. EpiPen) with the proper
Medication Authorization Forms signed by a physician and submitted to camp staff at
least one week prior to the beginning of camp for approval. Only campers who have
received approval will be permitted to bring medication to camp.
Camp Curiosity does NOT administer non-emergency medications; this includes, but is not limited to, over the counter drugs, cough drops, nasal sprays, eye drops and non-emergency prescription medications. Campers are permitted to self-administer medication with the proper Medication Authorization Forms signed by a physician and submitted to camp staff at least one week prior to the beginning of camp for approval.
Please review our Parent/Guardian Handbook thoroughly if your camper requires any form of medication. We do NOT accept Medication Authorization Forms on the first day of camp.
Camp Curiosity Emergency Plan:
Camp Curiosity’s Cancellation and Refund Policy:
If Harford Community College cancels an entire week of camp a 100% refund will be
provided. Camp Curiosity’s goal is to provide at least one weeks notice of a camp
week cancellation, but reserves the right to cancel a camp week at any time. If the
decision is made to close camp for a day or to close camp early due to severe weather
or other extreme circumstances no partial refunds will be provided. Camp Curiosity’s
goal is to provide at least 2 hours notice of a camp schedule change.
Parents/Guardians can cancel a camp week and receive a full refund up until the week before the camp is scheduled to begin. After this week, NO refunds will be provided.
