Harford Community College’s Music Department is hosting two musical performances on campus in October.
Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland has received funding from the Harford County Cultural Arts Board to support events to be held at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union Arena at Harford Community College and the Amoss Center.
The Actors Guild of Harford Community College will perform The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 by John Bishop on November 8-10 and November 15-17 in the Blackbox Theater located in Joppa Hall on the Harford Community College campus. Friday and Saturday performances start at 8 PM and Sunday shows begin at 3 PM.
Cindy Mehr: Over the Rainbow, a solo exhibit of recent paintings focusing on the joy and freedom after the coronavirus restrictions ended and everyday life resumed, closes November 8. The vividly colored works explore the contrasts found in times of joy and strife.
Enchantment Theatre Company will perform My Father’s Dragon, based on the beloved stories by Ruth Stiles Gannett, on November 2 at 3 PM in the Amoss Center in Bel Air.

Harford was awarded a grant for $17,020 by the Maryland Higher Education Commission as part of a statewide initiative to address food insecurity on Maryland college campuses. The grant will help fund sustainable efforts to attend to basic food needs among students.
