Begin an exciting and rewarding career in Child Care.

We offer a variety of non-credit courses to meet Office of Child Care (OCC) licensing - requirements.  The 90-hour Certificate program is a combination of courses that meets OCC requirements for lead teachers in the State of Maryland.

What Can I Do When I Complete This Program?

Students completing this program  can be employed as teachers or administrators in child care programs.



According the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the child care industry is anticipated to grow by about 2% between 2018 and 2028. While the child care workers in 2020 was $25,460 a year, the median pay for child care directors was $49,160.*
