Harford Athletics announces that Marissa Kozlowski has accepted the position of women’s volleyball head coach. She takes over as the seventh head coach in modern Fighting Owls volleyball history and brings an impressive depth of knowledge and track record of success to the team.
The College’s Center for Teaching and Learning held the Harford Institute for Scholarly Teaching for the second time this year on June 3-6 for 25 full- and part-time faculty. The Institute provided valuable tools, strategies, and connections to expand and sharpen teaching skills.
Harford’s Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society, Gamma Upsilon Chapter, inducted 24 new members in a ceremony last month. The chapter’s mission is to promote associate degree nursing to ensure excellence and integrity in the future of health care and professional nursing practice.

The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 10, beginning at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format; employees and community members may join the meeting in person in Edgewood Hall, Room 132 or watch the meeting via the Internet.
Harford’s Early Learning Center has openings this fall for children ages 2-5 for full-day and half-day preschool options. Our littlest Owls explore learning through social, physical, and academic development activities that will prepare them for future academic success.
Visit the College’s Chesapeake Gallery to view “Entry Way,” a solo exhibition of paintings on display through July 28 by Brooklyn-based artist Ella Wearing. Her paintings focus on the patterns she observed in her neighborhood, particularly the mosaic tiles found in entryways.
