Harford Community College Board of Trustees to Meet on August 11

The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 11, beginning at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format; employees and community members may join the meeting in person in the Chesapeake Welcome Center, Room 197 or watch it via the Internet. The Board will receive a presentation on the facilities planning efforts at the College. Action items include approval of the progress report on the Plan for a Program of Cultural Diversity for MHEC, as well as approval of three policy updates (Naming Policy, Presidential Transition and Succession Policy, and Earning a Subsequent Degree or Certificate Policy). The Board will recess the public meeting to conduct an Administrative Function to receive updates regarding the implementation of the Maryland Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) Act and the Board self-evaluation process.
