Hosted by Harford’s Nursing and Allied Health Professions division, the spring 2023 Nursing Class Pinning Ceremony for 58 proud and happy associate degree nursing graduates was held on May 23 in the Amoss Center in Bel Air.
James Liu, Carter Wells, and Precious Ikejiofor, students in Joppatowne High School’s Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) program, passed the CompTIA Network+ certification exam – on their first attempt.

Owl Magazine, Harford’s student multimedia publication, won three national awards in the 2021-22 Pinnacle Awards Competition in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the College Media Association and the Associated Collegiate Press.
Harford was named a 2022 Champion of Maryland Manufacturing in the Community Engagement category by the Regional Manufacturing Institute of MD for the “Leveling UP” component of the Additive Manufacturing Certificate Program.
Hosted by Harford’s Leading Edge Training Center Powered by the Radcliffe Foundation, the first class of completers were celebrated at a ceremony where nearly 50 proud and happy students were recognized for their achievements.
Ashley Gereli ‘14, a special education teacher at Churchville Elementary School, was named the 2022 Harford County Public Schools Teacher of the Year. She says her start at Harford helped pave the way for her teaching career.
The spring 2022 Heavy Equipment Operations class was the first to come through Harford’s Leading Edge Training Center Powered by the Ratcliffe Foundation. All the completers received job offers from local businesses.
Former baseball standout and 2019 NJCAA DI All-American Braeden Fausnaught ’19 has signed with MLB’s Philadelphia Phillies. He finished 2019 at Harford with a 7-1 record, a 1.75 ERA over 56-2/3 innings, and 92 strikeouts.
The College is proud to announce the students named to the President’s List for the spring 2022 semester. One of the highest academic honors that college students can achieve is earning a place on this prestigious list.
