Areas of Support
Providing academic support and guidance is a priority on the Harford campus and we have several avenues to obtain it.
- SOAR-ASAP at Harford
- Academic Success Center (ASC)
- Academic Advising: Every student has an assigned academic advisor and that person is one of the most valuable resources on campus! They are assigned to based on your major and follow you through your entire academic journey. Students are highly encouraged to get to know their advisor and meet with them at least once per semester to help navigate college, choose a career path, plan for transfer, choose classes prior to registration, and stay on track for graduation. To book an advising appointment or access Live Chat, log into OwlNet and search for the Advising & Transfer | STU card.
- Faculty Office Hours: Every instructor at Harford provides time for students to reach out for extra help, explanation of assignments, or questions. Students should check their syllabus for posted hours or reach out to their instructor directly for times and locations.
