Python

Explore the world of coding and discover careers in app or web development, data science, and machine learning.

Python is versatile, general-purpose programming language that emphasizes code readability. It is used in a variety of industries—for more common applications in data science and software engineering, to more complex environments like mobile app development, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

In this program students prepare for the PCEP™ Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification exam which validates their ability to accomplish coding tasks related to the essentials of programming in the Python language. Holders demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the universal concepts of computer programming, the syntax and semantics of Python, as well as the skills used in resolving typical implementation challenges.

Who teaches this program?

Chris Foster brings a wealth of education and experience to his instruction. As a military veteran with more than twenty years of cybersecurity employment, combined with a Master of Science in Information Assurance and Security and industry certifications including CISM, GPYC, CEH, CHFI, ECSA, Network+, Security+, Server+, Cloud essentials, and ITF, Chris Forster delivers quality education to his students.

What Can I Do When I Complete This Program?

This course is just the beginning! Upon completion you may choose to continue on the certification path and take the PCAP-31, followed by the PCPP-32. With all three certifications a career in software development, Python programming, and related technologies is assured. You may also choose to pursue a junior-level employment in the IT sector or within other field where basic knowledge of Python is an asset.
