Pipeline Construction & Operation
Funding may be available through the Philip E. & Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation Scholarships.
From working outdoors on large pipeline projects to running pipe for new building construction, those in this field find jobs on a wide variety of projects.
The Pipeline Construction & Operation program starts with the NCCER CORE curriculum which introduces you to the construction industry. Students gain entry-level knowledge of safety, tool handling, drawings, math, and employability skills. Once the NCCER Core Construction Certification is earned, students progress to pipeline-specific courses that cover industry language, materials, elevation, site and trench safety, foundation stabilization, testing and maintenance. Students also learn rigging, delivery, and cutting of pipe, making you highly marketable when seeking employment in the field.
