Begin an exciting and creative career designing professional floral arrangements for a variety of events.

Learn everything from simple to modern arrangements using a wide assortment of materials. Harford Community College's experienced instructors cover the many types or flowers, styles, arrangements and displays. 

8 COURSES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE PROGRAM*:

Prerequisite
FL 1006 Introduction to Floral Design

PROGRAM COURSES
FC 1012 - Floral Design, Advanced
FL 1009 - Sympathy Floral Design for Floral Certification
FL 1012 - Floral: Wedding Design
FC 1008 - Contemporary Floral Design

Electives (must complete 3, in any order)
Any of the holiday flowers courses
Flowers to Wear
Summer Wildflowers

* Students are required to complete Introduction to Floral Design before completing any of the other 4 required courses. Students must also complete 3 electives. All courses taken after the Introduction course, may be taken in any order.
