Casino Table Games Dealer Training
Interested in an exciting career as a casino dealer? This program prepares you for state licensing as a Casino Table Games Dealer.
In partnership with Hollywood Casino Perryville, Harford's Casino Table Games Dealer Training prepares individuals for a career in the casino industry. Students learn proper dealing techniques in a variety of table games, acquire the skills needed to provide excellent customer service through role-playing scenarios, and become familiar with casino rules and regulations. All training takes place at the casino in a training room space that includes actual gaming tables in a casino environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Students in this program must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma
or GED® equivalent, and be able to pass a background check to obtain a gaming license
COURSES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE PROGRAM:
HS 1037 Blackjack and Carnival Games
TIME NEEDED TO COMPLETE PROGRAM:
60 hours
CREDENTIAL(S) OFFERED:
Maryland Gaming License

Upon successful completion of this program, students are qualified to obtain a Maryland State Casino Table Games Dealer license and apply for employment as a Table Games Dealer, Casino Cashier, or Host.
