Harford Community College cybersecurity faculty are industry experts who stay current amidst the rapidly changing world of cybersecurity and are dedicated to training students to do the same.

MADRICE GUY holds an AAS in Computer Information Systems, and a Certificate in Programming from Harford Community College, a BS in AIT from University of Baltimore, and an MS in IS from University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) and Certified Network Defense Architect (C|NDA). Madrice is an avid software engineer, working a combined 15 years in industry and government and has taught at the University of Baltimore for some years. At Harford, Madrice teaches courses that prepare students for industry certifications, such as Security+, Network+, and C|EH.
LEE HEWITT brings the complete package to the table: excellent technical, leadership,
and communication skills. He holds degrees in both Aerospace and Electrical Engineering
as well as 24 certifications. He has delivered 35,000 hours of in-class instruction
and continues to hone his communication skills.
Over the past 25 years, Lee has developed an extensive background in program management, engineering, technical leadership, systems architecture, and training involving some of the largest enterprise networks in the world. Lee has provided oversight of detailed technical programs involving 125+ team members and has taken numerous projects through the entire life-cycle process— including several for DoD, CMS, HHS, DOJ, SSA, INS, HCFA, US Military (Government Contracts), and private organizations.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and multiple industry certifications: PMP, CISSP, ITIL, MCSE (NT), MCSE (W2K), MCSE+I, MCT, CNE, MCP, MCP+I, SCNP, CCNA, EIT, A+, Net+, Security+, INet+, CIW Associate, CIW Professional, CIW Master.
JOSHUA PULASKI is employed as the Cyber Compliance Branch Chief for the Department of the Army, Mid-Atlantic Region Network Enterprise Center and in his current position, is responsible for the cybersecurity compliance of all Information Technology for the US Army’s Mid-Atlantic Region. Over the past 15 years in IT, Josh has held various positions as a contractor and civilian employee. His experience spans from Service Desk and Systems Administration to Project Management and Change Management, to his current position in Cybersecurity.
Josh has written numerous technical white papers, proposals, and articles for the
US Army and has briefed Senior Leaders on the importance of implementing and executing
a comprehensive Cybersecurity program. He is at the forefront of the Cybersecurity
industry, protecting the US Army from various entities that may threaten the Cyber
Superiority of our Country.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Information Technology and a post-graduate certificate in Information Systems Management from Towson University. His certifications include: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and ISC2Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Josh served in the US Marine Corps and was twice deployed to Iraq. His personal awards include three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
DAVE REESE is a leading expert in IT classroom training and has 20 years of experience
providing technical and seminar training in topics including IT fundamentals (A+,
Network+, Security+, Server+), Microsoft Server Administration (Windows Server NT
4.0 – 2012), Network Infrastructure (Cisco Routing and Switching), Network Security
(CASP, CEH, Packet Capture and Analysis), Client Operating Systems (DOS, Windows,
Linux, Mac, Android), as well as a wide variety of user applications (Microsoft Office
suite, Google Apps/GSuite).
Dave’s technical software skills include Windows Serve NT 4.0 through 20012, MS DOS, Windows 3.1 through Windows 10, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Microsoft Office Suite 97-2016, Microsoft Project, Visio, Publisher, MS Visual Basic, PowerShell, Ubuntu Linux, Kali Linux, TCPDump, Wireshark, Clonezilla, Ghost Enterprise Edition, Microsoft HyperV, VmWare, and Oracle Virtual box.
Dave’s clients include the Maryland Department of Transportation; the Maryland Department
of Education; all branches of the U.S. Military; U.S. Intelligence agencies; commercial
enterprises; corporate training facilities; and universities and community colleges.
Dave’s certifications include: A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, MCSE, MCT, CASP, CEH, and CCNA.
ALBERT CHARLES RICHARDSON is an adjunct instructor for CIS 135: computer networking. He earned a BS in Physics from the University of Miami (Florida), a DDS from the Medical College of Virginia, and a MS in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland. In 2005, he retired from the U.S. Navy after 34 years during which he served five years as a Supply Corps logistics officer (including 13 months wintering-over in Antarctica), 14 years as a dentist, six years as the head of a research department, and nine years as the head of Radiology Computer Services. Since 1990, he has managed IT systems including procurement, installation, security, and systems administration of both Windows and UNIX networks. He earned Cisco CCNA and Network+ certifications and has taught college-level academic courses in Algebra, Biostatistics, Research Methodology, and TCP/IP Networking.
TERI L. WESTON has served as an adjunct instructor at Harford since 2005. In addition to teaching a wide range of Business courses, she teaches CIS 102: Introduction to Information Sciences, ISS 105: Introduction to Cyber Security, and ISS 222: Computer Forensics. Teri earned an MS in Information Systems and Telecommunications from The Johns Hopkins University and has an extensive background in information technology, both as a consultant and professional IT services manager for companies such as PeopleSoft and Oracle. She has been a global enterprise implementation consultant and managed diverse teams of technology consultants. As a consulting manager, she directed teams implementing application and technology solutions for global clients. Most recently, Teri has acted as a consultant for higher education clients performing ERP, technology and security assessments to provide clients with feedback on improvement options for their networks and infrastructure serving the college campuses.
