Nothing can be built without a design, and you're a designer.
You're the type of person who can "see" the whole design on paper first before it's even built. You've probably even sketched out a blueprint or two on a napkin over the years. At Harford, you'll hone and master the software skills you need to pursue a career in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
CADD professionals are in high demand and many industries need a skilled draftsperson like you. At Harford Community College, we offer a computer-aided design and drafting degree that can prepare you for transfer or immediate transition into an entry-level position within various industries.
Harford's small, student-centered, and flexible learning class options are the ideal learning environment for your computer-aided design and drafting studies.
WHAT CAN I DO WHEN I COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM?
With a degree and/or a certificate in computer-aided drafting and design at Harford, you can prepare for transfer to a four-year institution to complete your bachelor's degree or enter the workforce in an entry-level position. Many firms are hiring CADD students to work full time in an environment where they can grow professionally and complete their education while working. Careers in engineering, architecture, manufacturing, design, and project management are available.
