Chesapeake Welcome Center

Chesapeake Welcome Center

Prospective students, parents, and visitors from the community and beyond will soon have a central location from which to begin their Harford experience.

This new building will serve as the front door to the Harford Experience and a home for Admissions, Continuing Education, Financial Aid, Registration, Advising, and the Cashier. It will provide easy parking and a central access point for on campus tours, testing, enrollment events, and registration, as a Welcome Center for Future Fighting Owls. It will provide both convenience and efficiency to visitors with walk-up kiosks, a snack bar, and ample meeting spaces.

For community members attending visual and performing arts in the new spacious Chesapeake Gallery they will find a larger and improved 2,080 SF space. Harford is also excited to announce a modern 10,509SF conference center that will feature two large meeting rooms, three medium sized rooms, and four smaller breakout rooms for meetings and conferences. Dining Services will also find a new home with a modern facility that will double in size and help them to work safer and more efficiently. Harford is also excited to announce the new home of the 410-seat state-of-the art theater. Harford Community College will continue to be the cultural hub of the county and region with this new theater. Students and visitors will be welcomed in a vibrant campus space that reflects the future of our College and county.
