WHFC Fall 2025 Giving Campaign and Membership Drive
19 September 2025
WHFC 91.1 FM, Harford Community College Radio, in partnership with the Harford Community College Foundation, invites listeners to become members during its Giving Campaign and Membership Drive October 3-10. The station holds two drives a year to raise the resources that will keep fueling students’ creative expressions through radio and podcasting.
“At 91.1 WHFC, our Student Learning Lab transforms aspiring voices into confident communicators. Here, students don’t just learn about broadcasting—they live it. Through hands-on experience with real radio equipment and genuine community programming, our students develop critical thinking, technical skills, and the courage to share their unique perspectives with the world. The Learning Lab isn’t just preparing students for careers in media; it’s empowering them to become engaged citizens who understand the power of authentic storytelling and community connection,” said Station Coordinator Terry Trouyet.
WHFC has been on the FM dial for more than 40 years, and right now it is growing into a creative space much larger than a radio station. Anyone who is interested in learning radio, podcasting, audio production and more can come to WHFC for training.
Your generosity will help Harford students of all ages entertain you every week. It also provides them a safe place to practice the craft. Tune in to 91.1 WHFC and be ready to pledge your support during the week of October 3-10. You’ll be amazed at how much can be accomplished with your help!
One-time or sustaining membership donations can be made through the Harford Community College Foundation at WHFC911.org or by mailing a check to WHFC, 401 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air, MD 21015. Contributions from loyal listeners and local businesses directly support the station’s community of student learners and volunteers.
