2025 Annual Juried Student Art + Design Exhibition at Harford Community College

The 2025 Annual Juried Student Art + Design Exhibition will take place May 5-30 in
Harford Community College’s Chesapeake Gallery. All are invited to the Opening Reception
in the Chesapeake Gallery on Tuesday, May 6 from 5 to 6:30 PM. A juror’s talk and
the award announcements begin at 5:30 PM. The Salon de Refuses, featuring work not
accepted into the juried exhibition, will immediately follow in Joppa Hall from 6:45
to 8:45 PM.
The Annual Juried Student Art + Design Exhibition showcases artwork created by Harford Community College's Art + Design students over the past year. A guest juror selects the artwork to be exhibited from work submitted by students; the exhibition reflects the best of the work as interpreted by the juror’s vision. This year’s guest juror is Tru Ludwig, Academic Advisor and Transfer Specialist at Maryland Institute College of Art. Tru is also a practicing artist and professor of printmaking.
All are welcome to attend the reception or visit the Chesapeake Gallery to see the exhibition during regular hours. The Gallery is located on the second floor of the Student Center on Harford’s campus at 401 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air. Parking is free and handicapped parking is available close to the gallery. Gallery hours are Mondays-Thursdays, 8:30 AM-5 PM and Fridays, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. The gallery is closed on weekends and major holidays.
