The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 13, beginning at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format; employees and community members may join the meeting in person in Edgewood Hall, Room 132 or watch the meeting via the Internet.
The Harford Youth Orchestra (HYO) and Harford String Orchestra (HSO) will hold fall auditions on Saturday, August 24 by appointment only. Open to students in grades 6-12 who are serious about music, HYO and HSO provide a great learning and performing experience.
Harford Dance Theatre will hold auditions for “The Nutcracker” on Saturday, August 17 at the Susquehanna Center Dance Studio. All roles are open. Performances of the perennial holiday favorite will be held December 6-8. Click “read more” below for audition details.
Harford joined with Towson University in a partnership to create a seamless enrollment pathway for students to easily transfer to Towson University at Northeastern Maryland to pursue a bachelor's degree upon graduation, minimizing obstacles and the risk of credit loss.
The College has announced the students named to the spring 2024 President’s List. Among the highest academic honors a college student can achieve, scholars qualify for this prestigious list by earning all “A” and “B” grades and maintaining a 3.76 GPA or higher.
Harford Community College Foundation's 31st Annual Summer Swing Golf Tournament, held on July 15 at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs, brought 128 golfers together with numerous sponsors and volunteers to raise more than $64,610 for scholarships for Harford’s students.

“Fiddler on the Roof” plays at the Amoss Center in Bel Air on September 20 at 7 PM; September 21 at 2 and 7 PM; and September 22 at 2 PM. This heartwarming musical explores the unwavering pursuit of love, family and faith in the face of a rapidly changing world.
Harford has received a $118,231 state grant to support a multi-strategy initiative addressing growing concerns around students’ mental health. The funding will help to expand services to reach more students in need and destigmatize those seeking such services.
