Harford Community College Board of Trustees to Meet in March

The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will meet this Friday, March 10, for a scheduled work session. The meeting location is Darlington Hall, Room 202, and a copy of the agenda is available here. Topics will include an overview of proposed tuition and fees for FY2024, information about proposed salary and benefits for FY2024, and a presentation on Maryland’s Time to Care Act.

The Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 14 beginning at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format; employees and community members may join the meeting in person in Edgewood Hall, Room 132 or watch the meeting via the Internet. This month’s meeting will include an overview of employee well-being efforts presented by Human Resources. Action items include approvals for purchases (customer relationship management software, employee computer replacements, and server replacements), approval of a recommended adjustment to our retiree health care plan, non-substantive policy updates (Benefits Policy, Employment of Persons with Relationships to College Employees, Discretionary Leave of Absence, Access/Trespass Policy), a recommendation for removal of an outdated policy (Probationary Period for Non-Contract Employees), approval of the FY2024 tuition rates, and a proposed amendment to the Board meeting calendar.
