Harford Community College Board of Trustees to Meet in August

The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 10 beginning at 6 p.m. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the College will host this meeting in a hybrid format; employees and community members may watch the proceedings of the meeting online or join us in the Chesapeake Center Dining Rooms. This month’s meeting will include a presentation to the Trustees on an update on the College’s Strategic Plan. Action items include new policy proposals (telework, admissions, student grievance, and freedom of expression policies), two academic program proposals, an update to the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic calendars, change orders for the Chesapeake Welcome Center, and proposed updates to the Board of Trustees bylaws. The Board will move into a closed session to discuss a personnel matter.
