About

Dr. Susan Walker teaches courses in Introductory Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology. Prior to joining HCC in 2018, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute on Aging/NIH, where her research focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms involved in type 2 diabetes. As an assistant professor, Dr. Walker is interested in exploring ways to engage students in the classroom and incorporate undergraduate research experiences to pass on her passion for science to her students.
