Professor Mathematics

About

Dr. King taught a variety of math courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in Thailand for six years before joining HCC in 2005. She is particularly interested in student engagement and active learning in the classroom. In addition to teaching, she serves as the faculty sponsor for the Mu Alpha Theta-Math Honor Society. She also serves as a Co-PI of an NSF S-STEM grant that provides scholarships to support academically talented full-time students majoring in STEM majors.
