Scholarships

Harford Community College provides a number of scholarships to support students who are working to reach their goals of obtaining a college degree  or certificate.

College-Based Scholarships

There are two types of scholarships available through the College: Harford Community College Scholarships, and Harford Community College Foundation Scholarships.

There is one common application to apply for all College and Foundation scholarships. This can be accessed through AwardSpring. It is a simple application which determines which scholarships you are eligible for. Once you have completed and submitted the application, you will be contacted by financial aid if you are elgible to receive one or more scholarships and if letters of recommendation, narratives and/or personal interviews or with the donor/s are required. ALL STUDENTS are encouraged to complete the scholarship application

Grant-Based Scholarships

Each year Harford Community College applies for and receives several grants that provide our students with additional resources for specific areas of study. One of these resources is scholarships. Grant-based scholarships vary in amount and requirements but provide valuable funding to our students. The following grant-based scholarships are currently available: S-STEM Scholarship
