Harford Community College encourages students to pursue scholarships outside the College as well as those we provide.
Many local businesses and employers offer scholarships, as do social and religious groups. We've listed a few but do your research—there are many others!

James A. Thomas Conservation Scholarship
Women's Traffic & Transportation Club Scholarship
The Women’s Transportation Seminar Baltimore Chapter offers scholarships to students
pursuing careers in transportation-related fields. This is a great opportunity for
students interested in engineering, planning, or related industries.
Dunkin’ Baltimore & Washington, DC Scholarship
Dunkin’ of Baltimore and Washington, DC are offering fifty (50) $2,500 scholarships
to qualified students for the upcoming academic year. This program is open to high
school seniors and current college students who plan to enroll part-time or full-time
at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational school in 2026.
Applications are due April 15.
Horatio Alger Career & Technical Scholarship
The Horatio Alger Association offers this scholarship for students who have faced
and overcome adversity and are pursuing a career or technical education. Awards of
up to $2,500 can be used for tuition, tools, and other program-related expenses.
Applications are due June 15.
