Owl Media is Harford Community College’s award-winning student run media publication.
Consistently growing to stay in line with new media and technology, the publication provides a learning platform for students in the areas of writing, editing, videography, photography, marketing, sales, and design. Articles cover a wide variety of issues, opinions and events, entertainment, sports, fashion, and health.
Students interested in working for Owl Media may earn College credit and should consult with their advisor to discuss options. No previous journalism experience is necessary, and students do not have to be enrolled in journalism courses to participate.
