Student Life

Feeling connected to campus is paramount to experiencing all of what college has to offer.

At Harford, we encourage students to engage and connect with all aspects of campus in a way that enriches their own life as well as the lives of others.

Harford provides a robust student life and we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities available to connect with each other and with the larger College community. We offer an inclusive culture where students learn about themselves and others through experiences beyond the classroom. Whether you choose travel, learn through service, social, athletic, leadership or cultural activities, you're sure to meet new people, have some fun, and learn a little along the way.

All students are welcome to participate in any Registered Student Organization and their activities.

The College Store

Need a textbook? How about some Harford Fighting Owls spirit wear or a gift to show off your Harford pride? The College Store, located in the lower level of the Student Center, is the go-to place for everything Harford. They offer online and in person ordering and provide convenient hours to assist you.

Places to Hang Out or Study

Student Center
The Student Center is a central meeting point for students, offering plenty of seating inside and out—plus, access to the Globe Cafe. The Student Center is also home to the Military and Veteran's lounge and the Student Government offices.

We are eager to ensure full participation for all. Please contact the Office of Student Life for disability accommodations at 443.412.2628 or studentlife@harford.edu at least 10 days prior to the event.

Globe Café
Hot food, cold food, snacks, salad bar . . . from drinks to nachos and sandwiches, the Globe (Student Center) is the perfect place to go between classes.

Owls Nest
Hang out and play pool, challenge a friend to ping pong, or test your skills at arcade games. The Owls Nest is the place for fun and games in between classes!

Relaxation Room
Our Relaxation Room offers a quiet space for mindfulness practices and relaxation for individual students or small groups. The space is available in half-hour increments.

Student Lounge
A gathering space for small groups or clubs to meet, play games, host small meetings and more. Contact Student Life for availability or to reserve this space for regular meetings.
