Program Overview

CompTIA Linux+ is an intermediate level certification. Prior experience in IT, a degree in another field, or an aptitude for technology concepts is strongly encouraged before enrolling.

CREDENTIAL EARNED

CompTIA Linux+ is an industry certification. The exam is not administered as a part of this course. The exam is scheduled by participants through CompTIA. Exam vouchers are available to students at academic pricing.

Course

The Linux+ Certification  Prep course covers the exam objectives tested on the industry certification Linux+, awarded by CompTIA. The goal of this course is to prepare students to pass the nationally recognized CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.

In keeping with the current exam offered by CompTIA, this course material is updated every three years. All labs for the course are conducted in a virtual environment. 

What can I do when I complete the program?

Completers of this certification program may pursue a career as a Linux Administrator, Network Administrator, technical Support Specialist, Web Administrator or System Administrator.
