History

On trivia night, everyone wants you on their team because you know all the answers.

Your interest in history enables you to dispel myths that have carried on for centuries — like, how George Washington's teeth were not, in fact, made of wood. You knew that already. History is relevant to today and helps us connect and understand how to shape our future, and you're the person to help us make all the connections.

At Harford Community College, we offer two history degree concentrations that can prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution to complete your bachelor's degree.
