Geography, maps, technology, and computers are your thing. When you look at a map, it can tell a story, encourage exploration, inspire change, and solve problems.
For some, it's a calling rather than a job. At Harford, you'll acquire and master the skills and software you need to pursue a career in the growing geospatial technology field.
Geospatial Technology skills can be applied in most public and private sector jobs. At Harford Community College, we offer a geospatial technology degree and certificate program that can prepare you for transfer to further your studies and complete your bachelor's degree or enter the workforce.
Harford's small, student-centered, and flexible learning class options are the ideal learning environment for your geospatial technology studies.
WHAT CAN I DO WHEN I COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM?
With a certificate or degree in geospatial technology at Harford, you can begin your career or prepare for transfer to a four-year institution to complete your bachelor's degree. The skills and knowledge acquired in the geospatial technology program can be applied in a variety of fields from education, to government, natural resources, manufacturing and beyond.
