New Chair and Board Members for the Harford Community College Foundation

Harford Community College Foundation (HCCF) has announced leadership changes for the new fiscal year. Lee Tayson will become the chair of the Harford Community College Foundation effective July 1, 2026, and serve for two years. Tayson has been on the Foundation Board of Directors since 2017 and is an alumnus of Harford Community College. He is replacing Eric Rebbert, who has served in the position with dedication for three years. Rebbert will continue to serve the Foundation in the Past Chair role. 

Four new HCCF Board members, Paige Boyle-Kornke; Joyce Herold, EdD; Kristen Bucher; and Brian Wilcox, will begin their roles on July 1, 2026, and will serve for three-year terms.

Paige Boyle-Kornke is the Director of Development for the Community Foundation of Harford County. She retired from the position of Vice President of Boyle Buick GMC, where she spent 13 years leading business operations, marketing, and development initiatives. She brings extensive nonprofit and board leadership experience, currently serving as Secretary of the Greater Bel Air Community Foundation and as Vice Chair of the Greater Harford Committee. A dedicated community advocate, Paige is passionate about outreach and asset development and has a strong track record of engagement through organizations such as the John Carroll Alumni Board. She is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the region and expand opportunities for future generations.

Dr. Joyce Herold is a healthcare executive and small business owner, currently serving as Vice President of MSI Integrative Healthcare in Bel Air, Maryland. She holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership and brings a diverse background spanning healthcare, education, and nonprofit leadership. Dr. Herold previously served on the Harford County Board of Education and has held roles with Towson University and Harford Community College. An active community leader, she serves as Treasurer of the Harford County ZHOPE Foundation and holds leadership roles with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and City of God, Highway to Zion. She is committed to advancing educational access and strengthening community partnerships.

Kristen Bucher is the Senior Manager of Workforce Development at Baltimore Gas & Electric, where she brings more than 25 years of experience in workforce development, community engagement, and strategic partnership building. A senior leader with extensive experience leading equity-focused initiatives, Kristen has a strong track record of strengthening community relationships and developing long-term talent pipelines through collaboration with corporate, nonprofit, and educational partners. She currently serves on the Anne Arundel and Baltimore County Workforce Development Boards and is passionate about creating opportunities that support workforce readiness and community impact.

Brian Wilcox is the Chief Marketing Officer at APG Federal Credit Union, where he brings more than 35 years of experience in communications, business development, and marketing. With over three decades in the financial services industry and more than 25 years in senior leadership roles, Brian has a proven track record of driving strategic growth and community engagement. He is an active member of the community, currently serving on the board of the Harford County Sheriff’s Foundation. Brian is passionate about outreach and asset development and is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen and uplift the community.
