Dr. Theresa B. Felder, President of Harford Community College, is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees approved faculty tenure and promotion recommendations at the May Board meeting as listed below: 

  • A promotion to the rank of Professor to Ed Augustitus
  • A tenure contract to Russell Burchill
  • A tenure contract and promotion to the rank of Associate Professor to Deanna Garza
  • A tenure contract to Sven Holbik
  • A tenure contract and promotion to the rank of Associate Professor to Gretchen Mirabile
  • A tenure contract and promotion to the rank of Associate Professor to Tonee Mae Moll
  • A tenure contract to Dr. Alejandro Satz
  • A tenure contract and promotion to the rank of Associate Professor to Jennifer Wilcox

The Board of Trustees grants tenure to those who have satisfied all requirements for tenure and who have been recommended by their division dean, the Dean’s Cabinet, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the President. Final tenure decisions are made at the end of five years of employment.

All contracts and promotions are effective August 15, 2026.
