Harford Community College to Hold Board Meeting on June 9

The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 9, beginning at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format; employees and community members may join the meeting in person in the Chesapeake Welcome Center, Room 197 or watch the meeting via the Internet. The Board meeting will begin with elections for the roles of Board Chair and Board Vice Chair. The Trustees will receive a presentation on a proposed mechatronics program. Action items include a purchase authorization for Amtek Company for mechatronics equipment; Board approval of the MHEC Plan for a Program of Cultural Diversity; Board approval of the FY2027 Board meeting schedule; Board approval of the FY2027 operating budget; a purchase authorization for the College’s FY2027 insurance renewals; a contract authorization with Honeywell International; a Board resolution to approve a stream restoration on campus; and a Board resolution to receive a property transfer from Harford County.
