Phi Theta Kappa Chapter at Harford Community College Inducts New Members

Harford Community College’s Rho Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the International Honor Society of two-year colleges, inducted new members in a ceremony on campus on May 5.

The Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students. To quality for membership, a student must have completed 12 credit hours at Harford and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Officers of the Rho Beta Chapter of PTK are Hpone Myat, President; Ryan Graves, Vice President of Scholarship; Ayaan Osman, Vice President of Fellowship; and Evan Turner, Treasurer.

New PTK members for 2026 include Jessica Arthur, Shaliyah Beatty, Kassandra Bentley-Minor, Kaitlyn Bird, Sherquan Carter, Mercedes Castelli, Zachary Cooper, Keira Coronel, Janelle Dennis, Hannah Flowers, Thalia Gough, Ryan Graves, Linda Hayward, Dominic Jones, Natalie McCann, David Mercado-Marquez, Brandon Neff, Denise Nicholas, Matthew Ohler, Heloisa Paiva Cruz, Joseph Ranocchia, Lyndsay Rawlings, Jada Wilson, and Jaycee Wirsing.

Marc Minnick, D.B.A., Dean for Business and Applied Technology, and Jennifer Wilcox, Assistant Professor, Chemistry, are the PTK advisors for the Rho Beta Chapter at Harford Community College.
