Harford Community College’s Early Learning Center Accepting Fall Registrations

07 May 2026

Adult and child at Early Learning CenterRegistration is now open for fall enrollment at Harford Community College’s Early Learning Center (ELC), offering full-day and half-day preschool programs for children ages 2–5. At the ELC, our youngest Owls engage in meaningful learning experiences that support their social, physical, and academic development.

The Early Learning Center is licensed by the Maryland Department of Early Childhood, fully accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education, and proudly recognized as a Level 5 program in Maryland EXCELS, the state’s highest quality rating. These distinctions reflect the ELC’s commitment to excellence in early childhood education.

The ELC provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children of all abilities are encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually while building a strong, positive self-image. Our comprehensive curriculum includes language arts, math, and science, along with enriching experiences in art, crafts, dramatic play, and story time.

At the Early Learning Center, curiosity is nurtured, friendships are formed, and children build a strong foundation for future academic success.
