Harford Community College to Hold Board Meeting on May 12

The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 12, beginning at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format; employees and community members may join the meeting in person in the Chesapeake Welcome Center, Room 197 or watch the meeting via the Internet. There will be a presentation on the Chesapeake Welcome Center. Action items include approval of the AY2028 Academic Calendar, two policy updates (Review, Addition, and Change Policy; Honorary Degree Policy), one new policy approval (Student Anti-Hazing Policy), two contract authorizations (Mechanical Engineering and Construction Corporation and Teksystems, Inc.), and approval of a one-time employee appreciation bonus. The Board will also approve faculty tenure and promotion recommendations.
