Harford Community College to Hold Open House on May 2

Harford Community College will hold an Open House for prospective students of all ages and interests on Saturday, May 2, from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Student Center/Quad area on campus. Use Entrance 3 off Thomas Run Road or Entrance 6 off Rt. 22 and park in Lot A or B.

The Open House is for everyone: high school students interested in dual enrollment; military personnel and families; adults looking to finish their degree, change careers or to obtain industry certifications; community members searching for fitness or personal interest classes; and those wishing to begin a degree or career/workforce program.

Visiting the Open House will help participants discover everything they need to start at Harford. The Open House will highlight the College’s 90+ exceptional degree and 40+ career and workforce programs as well as many of the extracurricular activities and services offered at Harford. Learn how to save money by applying for Harford’s many scholarships and grants, be introduced to life on campus (including clubs, activities, and athletics), and meet with the Admissions team to discuss becoming a future Fighting Owl.

Learn about opportunities for research, internships, and networking; talk to deans, faculty and current students about programs, services, and campus life; and see firsthand how Harford’s facilities rival some of the best four-year universities.
