Tenement Museum and Brunch

New York City, NY | Sunday, March 8 | 6:30 AM-5:30 PM

Travel back in time as you embark on a guided tour of the Tenement Museum’s oldest apartment and its life as an 1870s century lager saloon to a 1930s auction house. Following the morning tour, the group will enjoy a catered brunch buffet from the iconic Russ & Daughters eatery with freshly baked NYC bagels, spreads, sweets, coffee and orange juice. Then, hear from a costumed interpreter about her home in Greece and the immigration process in 1916. The day ends with a short film called “Treasures of New York.” Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach bus, admission to the museum, two guided apartment tours and brunch.

 

New York City On Your Own

New York City, NY | Sunday, March 8 | 6:30 AM-5:30 PM

Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach to New York City. You will be dropped off and picked up in Lower Manhattan. All meals are on your own.

 

Manhattan Maritime Museum

New York City, NY | Saturday, April 18 | 7 AM-8:30 PM

Set sail on an unforgettable full-island cruise around Manhattan and experience New York City from the best seat in the house - the water! Glide past three rivers, five boroughs, and seven iconic bridges. Get up close to the Statue of Liberty for unbeatable photo ops and marvel at famous landmarks while hearing live narration from a local guide. Then head to the Intrepid Museum to learn more about military and maritime history. Experience the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid, the first space shuttle Enterprise, and other pieces of history in their exhibits. Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach, a ticket to the NYC Circle Line full island boat cruise, and admission to the museum. All meals are on your own.

 

Smithsonian National Zoo

Washington, DC | Wednesday, April 22 | 7 AM-5 PM

Explore the zoo at your leisure! Founded in 1889, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute sits on 163 acres in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s Rock Creek Park and is home to more than 2,100 animals representing almost 400 different species. Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach and admission to the zoo. All meals are on your own.

 

Revolutionary America

Philadelphia, PA | Saturday, April 25 | 8:30 AM-7:30 PM

Located in the heart of historic Philadelphia, the Museum of the American Revolution explores the dramatic story of the United States’ independence. Celebrate America 250 with a guided tour of the museum and then head over to the Besty Ross House to hear how America’s first flag came to be. Hear directly from Betsy about her life and work before visiting her home. Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach, admission to both museums, and a lecture from Betsy Ross. All meals are on your own.

 

Philadelphia On Your Own

Philadelphia, PA | Saturday, April 25 | 8:30 AM-7:30 PM

Enjoy a day on your own to explore Philly! You’ll be dropped off outside the Museum of American Revolution and picked up a few hours later in the same spot. Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach. All admission fees and meals are on your own.

 

Baltimore Art and Culture 

Baltimore, MD | Wednesday, April 29 | 9 AM-6 PM

The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore is a renowned institution boasting a vast collection spanning seven millennia and features art from around the world. Discover ancient artifacts, medieval armor, Renaissance paintings, and even Asian art while touring at your own pace. We’ll then head down the street to the Maryland Center for History and Culture for a guided tour of the Claire/McCardell exhibit. A major influence in American sportswear, McCardell redefined women’s fashion in America during the 1930s-1950s. Fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach, admission to both museums, and a guided tour. All meals are on your own.
