Harford Community College Holds Medical Assisting Completion Ceremony

Harford Community College held a Completion Ceremony for fall graduates of the 2025 Medical Assisting Program on December 12 in Darlington Hall on the College campus. Six students completed 160 hours of training in physicians’ offices across Harford County after completing coursework for their Medical Assisting Certification and/or Associate of Applied Science degrees.

Dean of Nursing and Allied Health Professions Ashley Meisel, DNP, RN, welcomed the graduates and their guests to the event. Harford Community College President Dr. Theresa B. Felder and Brittany Arkins, MA, CMA, and Program Director for Medical Assisting offered congratulatory remarks. Pins were presented to the graduates. The student speaker was Rebecca Marietta-Perez.

Fall 2025 graduates include Kayla Rinker, Jessica Gregory, Rebecca Marietta-Perez, Zoe Zengel, Renee Samuel, and Ronnika Heath.

Arkins stated, “It is with immense joy and pride that we celebrate the Medical Assisting graduates of the fall 2025 cohort. Their success is a testament to the heart and dedication they brought to every challenge. They navigated the demands of coursework and completed their 160-hour practicum while managing their lives with grace. This is a group that has truly earned their professional pin. They are stepping into Harford County healthcare not just with skills, but with the compassion and readiness to make a positive difference in the lives of their future patients. We couldn't be prouder to launch them into their professional careers."
