Harford Community College Holds CNA Program Completion Ceremony

A completion ceremony for fall 2025 Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program completers was held on December 15 in Edgewood Hall on the Harford Community College campus.

The event was hosted by the College’s Division of Nursing and Allied Health Professions with Renee Michalkiewicz, MS, MT(ASCP), CPP, Director, Allied Health Programs.

The ceremony opened with welcome and congratulatory remarks from Renee Michalkiewicz; Diane Ryan, PhD., Vice President of Academic Affairs; and Amy Ertwine, EdD, MSN, RN, CNE, CNA Instructor. The student speaker for the CNA ceremony was Christiana Robey.

Amy Ertwine and April Oatts, MSN, AANP, FNP-C, Instructor, Nursing Assistant Clinical, pinned the Nursing Assistant graduates.

Brian Walker, Chair of the Harford Community College Board of Trustees, was in attendance.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) completers who were pinned during the ceremony included Victory Amaechi, Julianna Brown, Carlo Fuller, Rohama Hailemichael, Max Hinkle, Rodel Kortu, Lisa Malvaso, and Christiana Robey.
