Harford Community College Library Book Sale Proceeds Break Record

13 November 2025

The annual Harford Community College Library book sale that took place October 27 to 31 had record-breaking sales this year. All proceeds from the sale, a total of $2,151, were donated to the Harford Community College Foundation for the College’s William Schwartzman Memorial Textbook Scholarship. The scholarship was named for a faithful Library volunteer.

Books were collected several months before the sale, and this year Harford’s Library received more than 4,000 donated items. There was increased foot traffic at the sale this year due to a larger stock of books, higher rates of people on campus, and expanded advertising.

Harford’s Library wishes to thank everyone who donated or purchased items during the annual sale.
