Screech’s Night Owl 5K Glow Run and Fun Walk Raises Funds for Scholarships

There were 452 runners and walkers registered for Screech’s Night Owl 5K Glow Run and Fun Walk, an evening glow run and fun walk in support of Harford Community College’s student athletes. The event raised more than $15,000 for student athletic scholarships at Harford.

Medals were awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top three finishers in the following age groups: 9 and under, 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

At Harford, our student athletes are at the top of their game, on and off the court and field. By participating in one of Harford’s NJCAA sports, they make a commitment to excel not only in their sport, but also in the classroom. Harford’s student athletes accomplish great things during their time at the College and beyond: they excel at giving back to the community, and many of our students transfer to a university to play at the NCAA level and earn their bachelor’s degree.

Event proceeds support scholarships for Harford athletes to help them continue to excel and achieve academically and athletically.
