National Book Festival

Travel to the 25th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival, featuring top authors, illustrators and poets hosting presentations, programs and panels. The fee includes round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach. All meals are on your own.

New York City on Your Own
New York City, NY
Wednesday, September 10  | 
8:30 AM—9:30 PM
The fee includes round-trip transportation on a motor coach to New York City. You'll be dropped off in Manhattan, outside the Center for Jewish History. The bus will return for pick up at 6:30 PM.

Brooklyn Pizza Tour
Brooklyn, NY

Join the world-famous Pizza Tour featured on The Today Show and Food Network! Skip the lines at iconic pizzerias, snap photos of the Brooklyn Bridge, stroll the Coney Island Boardwalk, and see famous movie spots. The fee includes round-trip motor coach, four slices of pizza, two drinks, and a guided multimedia tour.

Monticello

Spend the day exploring the grounds and home of Thomas Jefferson. Two guided tours are included at this UNECSO World Heritage Site. The seasonal Gardens & Grounds Tour explores Monticello’s restored gardens and discusses Jefferson’s lifelong interest in botany as well as the enslaved gardeners who maintained the landscape. The Slavery at Monticello Tour focuses on the experiences of the enslaved people who lived and labored at Mulberry Row, the industrial hub and “Main Street” of the 5,000-acre plantation. The fee includes round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach, a boxed breakfast, and two guided tours. Lunch is on your own.

Allow us to do the driving and invite your friends to join you as you visit the museum of your choosing at your leisure. Stops include the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, Barnes Foundation, Franklin Institute, Mutter Museum and Penn Museum. Purchase your own admission ticket to whichever museum you plan to visit as this trip is transportation only.

Grounds for Sculpture

A museum, a sculpture garden and an arboretum where art and nature are always at play. Outdoors, nearly 300 contemporary sculptures are installed across 42 landscaped acres. Indoors, temporary exhibitions from established and emerging artists are featured in six galleries. Take a guided one-hour tour upon arrival, and then the rest of the day is yours to spend exploring the grounds on your own. The fee includes round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach, admission, and a guided tour. All meals are on your own.

Spooky Annapolis Tour

Built between 1772 and 1782, The Maryland Inn has been privy to centuries of Annapolis history. It's the perfect location for lunch and a tour with a ghost guide on Halloween. The three-course, prix-fixe menu will feature two entree selections as well as non-alcoholic beverages. A ghost tour guide will join you for dessert and share tales of the Maryland Inn's past. Then, you'll follow your spirited guide for a leisurely stroll through a small section of the Historic District of Annapolis. Stop at spooky spots such as Reynold's Tavern, Church Circle, and the Maryland State House. Great for those who haven't ever been to Annapolis or those who have always wanted to learn more about this historic town. Fees include round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach, a house salad, your choice of entree and a dessert, and a guided walking tour.

Visit four of the finest traditional and artisanal chocolate makers in Brooklyn. Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of chocolate in Brooklyn, how it’s made, and watch demonstrations. Taste test chocolate ice cream, mini cupcakes, hot chocolate and more. Lunch at Grimaldi’s is included, so save room for thin crust Margherita pizza. Fees include round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach, samples, two slices of pizza, a soft drink, plus a guided multi-media tour.

Ford's Theatre
Washington, DC

Ford's Theatre explores the legacy of President Abraham Lincoln and celebrates the American experience through theatre and education. Our guided tour highlights the historic theatre, the events of April 14, 1865, and the impact of Lincoln's assassination on our nation. Participants will start the morning with brunch at The Hamilton, a trendy local restaurant. Enjoy a buffet filled with fresh fruit, potatoes, breads, bacon, sausage, eggs, charcuterie, and desserts. Then, visit the museum located under the theatre, Petersen House located across the street and exhibits explaining what happened immediately after the assassination. After touring the historic site, participants will return to the theatre for a special holiday performance of A Christmas Carol. Fees include round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach bus, admission to the historic site, a restoration fee for the theatre, all-you-can-eat brunch, and a great seat for the show!

Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall

The 90-minute show features more than 140 performers and an original musical score. The Radio City Rockettes have been preparing all year for this. There will be time to explore New York City before the matinee performance. Fees include round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach bus and an orchestra theater ticket. Our seats are amazing! A once-in-a-lifetime show that shouldn't be missed. All meals are on your own.

A Longwood Christmas

Spanning more than 1,000 acres, Longwood showcases horticultural splendor, intricate fountain systems, architectural grandeur, and so much more. See the results of the $250 million renovation and tour the property at your leisure. This holiday season, wander the paths outside through hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights and marvel at the how-did-they-do-that displays! Please note: Participants will be walking outdoors during the evening hours - wear good walking shoes. Fees include round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach and admission to Longwood Gardens. All meals are on your own.
