Harford’s Music Department will host four concerts in May. Harford alumni return for an Evening of Jazz on May 1 and pianist Hexing Xiao and fellow Harford faculty musicians perform on May 3. Vocal and instrumental student recitals and the vocal pop and jazz ensembles will perform later in May.

William Shakespeare's “Romeo + Juliet” will be performed May 1, 2 & 3 in the Blackbox Theater in Joppa Hall. This classic star-crossed lovers’ tale gets new life in a punk rock-inspired production with all the romance of 16th century Shakespeare and all the raw intensity of 20th century rock.
