Heavy Traffic Anticipated Around Harford Community College May 23-31

Harford Community College's 66th annual Commencement ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the APGFCU Arena on the College’s campus. Doors open at 9 AM for the 10 AM ceremony and at 1 PM for the 2 PM ceremony.

Traffic will be very busy around the College as students and visitors arrive and depart. Parking on campus will also be congested. Plan your trip accordingly to account for extra time if attending the events or driving in the area around the campus. Graduates should enter the Susquehanna Center by the APGFCU Arena main entrance and go to the Auxiliary Gym. Please note: There is construction on the Harford Community College campus nearby the Susquehanna Center.

In addition, Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) will hold high school graduations at the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College starting Friday, May 24. Again, heavy traffic is expected and people driving in the area around the College are encouraged to allow extra time to reach their destination.

HCPS high school graduations are scheduled at the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College as follows:

  • Friday, May 24, Milton Wright High School: Doors open at 11:30 AM, ceremony at 1 PM
  • Friday, May 24, Edgewood High School: Doors open at 4:30 PM, ceremony at 6 PM
  • Tuesday, May 28, Swan Creek High School: Doors open at 8 AM, ceremony at 9 AM
  • Tuesday, May 28, Patterson Mill High School: Doors open at 11:30 AM, ceremony at 1 PM
  • Tuesday, May 28, Aberdeen High School: Doors open at 4:30 PM, ceremony at 6 PM
  • Wednesday, May 29, Joppatowne High School: Doors open at 11:30 AM, ceremony at 1 PM
  • Wednesday, May 29, North Harford High School: Doors open at 4:30 PM, ceremony at 6 PM
  • Thursday, May 30, Fallston High School: Doors open at 11:30 AM, ceremony at 1 PM
  • Thursday, May 30, Bel Air High School: Doors open at 4:30 PM, ceremony at 6 PM
  • Friday, May 31, Havre de Grace High School: Doors open at 11:30 AM, ceremony at 1 PM
  • Friday, May 31, Harford Technical High School: Doors open at 4:30 PM, ceremony at 6 PM
