Through a grant co-sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA) and National Science Foundation (NSF), Harford Community College is offering GenCyber Camps for Harford County students in grades 7 to 9 (ages 11 to 15). The deadline to apply is April 1.

GenCyber Camps provide no-cost cybersecurity experiences for students. Two one-week sessions will be held July 8-12 and August 5-9 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Lunch and snacks will be provided each day at no cost. Before and after care is available.

Campers who attend a GenCyber Camp at Harford will code iRoot robots, fly mini drones, create a security ID badge, program using Arduino or Raspberry Pi, study ethical hacking and so much more. Campers will engage in hands-on activities and projects throughout the camp week all focused on cybersecurity concepts.
