FAFSA Assistance Available at Harford Community College

Harford Community College’s Financial Aid department has numerous dates between April 10 and June 29 reserved to help students complete the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Assistance is available to all college students, not just Harford Community College students. There’s more aid available to students than most people realize, so all students, both new and current, should complete the FAFSA. Join us and learn more.

FAFSA Assistance Labs will be held

April 10, 13, 20, 24, and 27;
May 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, and 22;
June 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, and 29.

All labs will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the College’s Student Center, Room 243.

Financial aid labs provide students with assistance in completing the FAFSA, Foundation scholarship applications, creating a Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS) account, and to answer any basic questions they may have about the financial aid application process.

Appointments are typically one hour. To successfully complete the 2023-2024 form, bring the following items for both student and parents: FSA ID, Social Security Numbers, 2021 Federal Income Tax Returns, 2021 W-2 Statements, and 2021 Untaxed Income Records. If participants don't bring these documents, Financial Aid specialists may not be able to assist them in completing the FAFSA. Applicants who are dependents under 24 years of age require the presence of a parent or guardian.
