Cirque Kalabanté: Afrique en Cirque at the Amoss Center

04 April 2023

Cirque Kalabanté: Afrique en Cirque is coming to the Amoss Center in Bel Air on Thursday, April 27, at 7 PM. The Amoss Center is located at 200 Thomas Run Road, across from the main campus of Harford Community College.

Afrique en Cirque is a highly colorful creation featuring a handful of amazing acrobats and musicians performing their authentic choreography to the frenetic rhythms of djembes and other native instruments of Guinea. To the melodious sound of the Kora, artistic director and company founder Yamoussa Bangoura takes us into an elsewhere that radiates the diversity of traditional African arts combined with the virtuosity of the North American modern circus performance.

Reserved seating starts at $19. Purchase tickets here, visit Harford’s Ticket Office in the Chesapeake Center, or call 443.412.2211.

Harford Community College is committed to promoting the full participation of all individuals with disabilities at the event. For disability-related accommodations, contact 443.412.2211 two weeks in advance.

The show is supported by the Harford County Cultural Arts Board and the Maryland State Arts Council.
