Harford Community College Foundation (HCCF) has announced leadership changes for the new fiscal year. Lee Tayson will become the chair of the Harford Community College Foundation effective July 1, 2026, and serve for two years. Tayson has been on the Foundation Board of Directors since 2017 and is an alumnus of Harford Community College. He is replacing Eric Rebbert, who has served in the position with dedication for three years. Rebbert will continue to serve the Foundation in the Past Chair role.
Harford Community College continues to expand the scholarship opportunities for its students thanks to the generosity of several new donors. This academic year, the Harford Community College Foundation has partnered with members of the community to create 14 new scholarships.
Harford Community College will be holding a virtual Nursing Information Session on Wednesday, July 22 from 10 to 11:30 AM. In addition, an in-person information session will be held on Thursday, August 13 from 10 to 11:30 AM in Edgewood Hall, Room 132 located at Entrance 3 on the College campus.
Harford Community College will be accepting applications for the spring 2027 semester for the Nursing Associate degree program (RN or LPN to RN Bridge Option) or Practical Nursing (PN) certificate program from July 15 to September 15, 2026.

Harford Community College Athletics has announced that Madison Knight has accepted the position of head softball coach for the Fighting Owls. A Belcamp, Maryland native, Knight joins Harford fresh off a stellar four-year NCAA Division I college softball career at Syracuse University.
