The STEM eMentoring Program, established during the 2018-2019 Academic Year, is an Educational Partnership Agreement between C5ISR Center at the Aberdeen Proving Ground and Harford Community College.
The Harford County Electrical Contractors Association honored 83 graduates of their apprenticeship program for their hard work and commitment on May 16. Graduates received a Maryland Certificate of Completion, officially recognizing them as qualified journeyperson electricians.

Michael T. Smith Sr. ’12 received the Distinguished Alumni Award at Harford’s 2025 Commencement ceremonies, recognizing his outstanding professional success, demonstrated commitment to the community, and interest in and service to the College on our Board of Trustees.
Eight graduates of Harford’s Medical Assisting Program were honored at a ceremony held in Darlington Hall on May 21. The grads completed 160 hours of rigorous training in physicians’ offices across Harford County after finishing their certification or degree coursework.
The College’s Division of Nursing and Allied Health Professions hosted a Pinning Ceremony for 47 spring 2025 associate degree nursing graduates on Tuesday, May 20 at the Amoss Center. The new grads will bring their considerable skills to patient care for years to come.
The College held its annual Commencement on May 22. Many of Harford's graduates of the Class of 2025 attended one of the two traditional cap and gown ceremonies held in the APG Federal Credit Union Arena on campus and celebrated their achievements with their loved ones and friends.
Bring the kids to see “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!” on June 1 at 3 PM in the Amoss Center for a Sunday afternoon performance the whole family is sure to enjoy. With a script written by Mo Willems, this show is even more of a blast than staying up late!
Harford will host a free clinic for girls 12 to college age at its Sports Complex on Saturday, May 24, 9 AM to noon, in partnership with the Baltimore Ravens. An open tryout will follow for HCC’s women’s flag football team, which begins its inaugural season in spring 2026.
Harford held a ribbon cutting and opening celebration on May 13 in Joppa Hall to mark the launch of the College’s participation in Maryland’s state-of-the-art Cyber Workforce Accelerator (CWA) program, hosting a range of local, state, federal and private sector dignitaries.
